Hands down - best desert shop in the known universe. You can order a hot chili or meat pie (country sausage unmatched) as a meat option.
We had a wonderful visit and grabbed my mom a Big Slice of German chocolate cake. She said it was amazing. The lady working inside was all by herself and she was kicking tail and slinging pie! We have three more personal pies that might not make it back to Charlotte. Thanks for the great service!
Great place! This is a big old fashioned bakery. They make excellent savory mini pies! The pulled pork pie is amazing! Next door is their ice cream shop and a gluten free bakery! Love the gluten free muffins and peach pie! They also have lots of products that contain moonshine!
Never been impressed. Sorry. Pretty sure they use boxed cake mixes you find in the store vs. homemade. Worst bakery I’ve ever been to. They do have a lot of stuff... it looks good... but, no. Sorry.
I was sold by the smell as soon as we opened the door. After drooling over the amazing selection of pies and picking out a chocolate moon pie and gooey caramel pie, the staff treated my wife to a birthday cupcake. I sat down with an incredibly yummy moonshine cookie while my wife enjoyed her prize. I will definitely be back, and was excited to find out that they ship!
