Do not agree to the furniture protection warranty! It's says its a win/win. It's not. After not filing a claim in the three years, you are supposed to get a voucher for the amount you paid for the insurance. However, they fail to tell you that you have to purchase additional furniture for that voucher to be valid. I guess the win/win is for them, not the consumer.
Nice furniture, but it's very expensive and the store layout could be improved
I called for warranty service, it took 30 days for the Service man to arrive in my home.It took 10 more days for the part to be ordered. I called the warranty service today and they told me it can take another two or three weeks for the part to come in. Then the part will be shipped to the store, they told me I must go to the store and get the part. Then I was told I must then call for another service call. If the part arrives in two weeks it will be 60 days from my initial call for warranty service. I have had no luck or support from the local store or management. This warranty service is pathetic, and if this is good to Babcock it puts them in the same ballpark.I will not purchase any more furniture with the store or chain and I will do my best to warn everybody about the poor customer service and warrantee products that are offered by Babcock.
Hanna Hodges one of the store associates is HORRIBLE! She was hateful and rude when I called about a scratch on my table. She made me not want to go back
I will never become a Badcock customer again. They lie about the warranty and will not fix the problem you are having. They tell you the warranty will cover but that's not true. We are currently having issues with our lawnmower and have a warranty. BUT supposedly the so called warranty won't cover it to get fix. The people there are disrespectful. MOUNT AIRY BADCOCK will not get my money anymore.
