For me, this as a place to visit. Okay telling my age, watch Andy Griffith growing up. The museum is about the people of the show. Still watch reruns. The museum is one room area. Covers just what it is, the TV show. All about the Andy Griffith show. For older adults, who watched, will bring back memories. For children, if they don't know about the show, then their will be little interest. Don't forget to see the Chang and Eng gallery. Know who they were, but the added history and connection to Mt. Airy.
I loved it! I'm a huge Andy Griffith fan. I plan on coming back and bringing my friend. There was so much to see! I had a great time!
I am a big Andy Griffith fan and so glad I got to finally visit Mt Airy! Museum provided lots of interesting info and also provided authentic props from the shows. At $8.00 a person bring the family! Just wish we would have came on a Saturday when the town has more shops are open.
A wonderful venue to showcase some local and not so local talent. Always enjoy attending a performance here.
Beautiful place to visit. So many friendly people. We just love Betty Lynn. The museum also reminds you of a happier time.
