Most stores have left the mall. JC Penny's, shoe dept., and Bells the only big stores, a few small stores, this mall will be closing soon. Sad, was a cute mall.

I've lived in Mount Airy most of my life and the mall has almost completely deteriorated right before my eyes. Not only is there a lack of diversity in stores, but the mall as a whole is literally falling apart. There's chunks of ceiling missing along with water damage in almost every store. Supposedly, there will be renovations within the coming months but I wouldn't risk going inside.

Didn't find what I was looking for. Mall needs work and a new business to fill in where k-mary was.

Sad to see all the stores and shops leaving. Hope the repairs get done and it can remain open. It use to be a great place. It would be nice to see all empty stores full and a new variety of shops.

H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Not only are there huge amounts of mold, and places in the ceiling that are falling in and waking to the point that they have to put out massive trash cans when it rains to catch the water, but also there are basically only about three stores worth shopping in. And even then, they are ridiculously overpriced for what they offer and they closing that you end up purchasing will either Fall Apart when you wash it once or it will shrink so much that it never fits again and I'm talking about pretty much every store in the mall that sells clothing. This used to be a place that kids could hang out and do things and have fun and not run around doing drugs and drinking, but it has just become a place for people to walk and get exercise. Unfortunately they're probably getting horrible lung disease and mold inhalation as they walk. This place has become disgusting and I avoid it as much as possible.
