I was very excited to try this restaurant but now I don't have any desire to ever return. The food was okay the first time I went, a little pricey for what it is. I went again with a friend who had never been. She ordered chicken tenders which were over cooked, and they literally shot out grease when she broke one open. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was tiny like something you'd get for a $1 at McDonald's and they charge I think it was 30 cents for water? What kind of place charges you for water! My parents experience was worse than that. They went and both ordered the special that includes the drink, fries, and burger. The waitress told her she could get lemonade at no extra cost and that she would sub onion rings for fries. Once they get the check they had been charged extra for the lemonade and onion rings and the waitress who told them that said "well I didn't know it costed extra"
Out of all of the burger places in Mt. Airy I really won't miss this place.
Place has a old time diner feel to it. I had a burger and root beer float. Food was good prices were average. Staff was friendly and attentive. I would eat her again.
This place is awesome. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the workers are awesome. I overheard someone treating on of the waitresses very poorly and I can't believe how well the manager handled the situation. He defended his worker in a kind manner. The food in general tastes super good too. Waaaaaay better than 5 guys for half the price. Love coming here!
My family and I have put off going to hwy 55 in Mt airy because we heard it had terrible food and service. Well we went today and while I have ate much better burgers I also paid much more for said burgers. The main reason we would go back was the service. Our waitress was Jules and she was great the whole time. She talked to our girls and brought us a sample of the flavor of the day ice cream. She was the best waitress we have ever had. If you plan on stopping by ask for her.
Wow... Honestly floored by the amazing food, great portions, and impeccable service. When you walk in the door everyone greets you and not in a robotic type way but in a joyful genuine way. I wish i had more stars to rate this even higher. Whoever owns this facility should be proud to have such a nice resturant with AMAZING STAFF.
